Gianni Kovacevic – Executive Chairman & CEO (Director) – Mr.Kovacevic is an expert on modern energy, emerging markets, and natural resources with a particular expertise on copper markets. With over 20,000 hours of research, he is a sought-after strategist in the divestment movement, and his various lectures have been featured at events around the world. An avid proponent of realistic environmentalism, he is frequently interviewed by the media with his unique way of applying the algebraic way of thinking to solving global problems. His new book, My Electrician Drives a Porsche? – a journey of personal enlightenment into appreciating the rise of the new spending class – was the basis of the world’s first zero emission book tour. Mr. Kovacevic is a graduate of electrical studies from The British Columbia Institute of Technology and is a renowned commentator on all things related to the copper industry. Fluent in English, German, Italian and Croatian, he is a founding member of the CO2 Master Solutions Partnership and a co-founder of CopperBank.
Tony Ricci – CFO (Director) – Mr. Ricci is a chartered professional accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of experience, mainly with public companies listed on Canadian and U.S. stock exchanges. Mr. Ricci was formerly a director and chief financial officer of Keegan Resources Inc., a director and CFO of Norsemont Mining Inc., and CFO of both Petaquilla Minerals Ltd. and Petaquilla Copper Ltd., companies with a combined market capitalization approaching $2-billion. He is also a director and officer of various other listed companies and has formerly worked with KPMG and AMEC Engineering Inc.
Brigitte Dejou – P. Eng, – Technical Advisor (Independent Director) – Ms. Dejou holds both a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Masters of Applied Science degree from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. Ms Dejou has 25 years of experience in mineral exploration including 18 years within Teck Cominco (now TECK) managing various exploration programs and two years with Osisko Mining Corporation working on the evaluation of new projects and QA/QC of existing drilling programs (Canadian Malartic, Duparquet, Hammond Reef). Ms. Dejou brings a wealth of experience in running a variety of exploration projects from grass-roots to pre-feasibility stage across North America (including Red Dog, El Limon-Morelos, Polaris and Mesaba), she was also instrumental in the discovery of the Aktigiruk deposit. She has explored for a variety of commodities both for base metals (sedex and MVT Zn-Pb, porphyry Cu, magmatic Cu-Ni, VMS) and precious metals (Au, Ag, PGE). Since 2012 Ms Dejou is Vice President Exploration for LaSalle Exploration.
Kenneth Cunningham – Geology Advisor (Independent Director) – Mr. Cunningham served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Miranda Gold Corp. and continues to serve as Miranda’s Chair. During his tenure as CEO of Miranda he was instrumental in building Miranda’s exploration team, acquiring key projects, negotiating joint ventures and strategic alliances as well as building awareness of Miranda in the financial community and successfully raising equity funds from that financial community. He also served as a director on Red Eagle Mining Corporation’s Board of Directors from 2011 to 2015. Mr. Cunningham has a BS degree in geology from Oregon State University and an MS degree in geology from Texas Christian University. He is a licensed Professional Geologist and a past president of the Geologic Society of Nevada.
Robert McLeod – Geology Advisor (Qualified Person) – Mr. McLeod is the President and CEO of IDM Mining Ltd., advancing the Red Mountain gold deposit in British Columbia. Previously, he was founder and VP Exploration of Underworld Resources. Kinross Gold Corporation acquired Underworld for $140M after an initial resource estimate of over 1.4Moz gold at the White gold Deposit in the Yukon. He has over twenty years’ experience in mining and mineral exploration, working for a variety of major and junior mining companies. As an exploration geologist and project manager at Miramar’s Hope Bay project, Mr. McLeod was part of the team that discovered the Naartok deposit, as well as expanding and delineating the Boston and Doris deposits. He was previously VP of Exploration for Atna Resources and is currently a director of Independence Gold Corp and Gold Standard Ventures. He is a graduate of Geology from the University of British Columbia, with an M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queens University. He is a member of AMEBC as a Professional Geologist, an active member and volunteer in multiple industry and geological societies, and a member of Doug Casey’s ‘NEXTEN’ list of young mineral explorers and executives.
Terence Ortslan – Engineering Advisor – Mr. Ortslan has been the Managing Director of TSO & Associates, an independent mining and metals research firm since 1996. He is also a Director of Karmin Exploration Inc., Legend Gold Corp. and Silvermet Inc. Prior to 1996, Mr. Ortslan worked as a mining analyst with a number of respected investment firms including BBN James Capel Inc., Loewen, Ondaatje McCutcheon Ltd., Merrill Lynch, Wood Gundy Inc., Jones Heward & Co. and Maison Placements Canada Inc. Mr. Ortslan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and Applied Geophysics degree in 1972 and an MBA in 1974, both from McGill University.
Todd Hilditch – Public Markets Advisor – Mr. Hilditch has over 15 years experience in the natural resource sector and has held the position of President, CEO and Director of numerous TSX Venture listed companies including Salares Lithium Inc. (TSX.V: LIT) which merged with Talison Lithium Inc (TSX: TLH) to become the world’s largest producing lithium company in a $340 million merger. Mr. Hilditch has been President and CEO of Terraco since inception in 1995 and manages all aspects of the day to day business of Terraco. Mr. Hilditch graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, majoring in Finance.
William W. Willoughby, PhD, PE, RM SME – Technical Advisor – Mr. Willoughby is a professional mining engineer with 36 years of experience in the mining industry. Registered Professional Engineer, Mining, in the State of Idaho since 1985. Doctorate in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy from the University of Idaho (1989). Recently President and Chief Operating Officer of Enexco International, a copper and uranium exploration company purchased in 2014 by Denison Mines. Eighteen years with Teck and Cominco. Extensive experience in evaluating opportunities and finding solutions to mining problems. Owner of Willoughby & Associates, PLLC, an Idaho registered engineering firm specializing in technical studies for mineral resource management. Director of Vista Minerals Pty, Ltd.
Thomas Ullrich – Geology Advisor - Mr. Ullrich has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration and geoscience. He is currently CEO of Aston Bay Holdings Ltd., where he is exploring for sediment hosted copper and zinc in the Canadian Arctic. He was Chief Geologist North America for Antofagasta Minerals plc for five years, investigating the region’s copper potential through extensive property evaluations and management of drill programs in Alaska and Canada. Prior to Antofagasta, he was Senior Geologist for Almaden Minerals, where he managed the drill program for the team’s discovery of the Ixtaca Ag-Au deposit in Mexico. Mr. Ullrich also established the Ar-Ar geochronology lab at the University of British Columbia and studied the Candelaria Cu-Au mine, Chile, while at Queen’s University. Mr. Ullrich is an Elected Director on the Board of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC.
Colin Burge – Geology Advisor – Mr. Burge is a discovery oriented exploration geologist with 30 years’ experience in project development with the First Quantum Minerals and predecessor companies. Mr Burge was part of a corporate development team at Inmet Mining Corp. that discovered and delineated more than 30 billion pounds of copper at the Cobre Panama Project in Panama leading to First Quantum Minerals $5 billion dollar acquisition of the company. He gained valuable experience working with First Quantum for 3 years as the project transitions to a mining operation and has excellent technical skills in exploration data management and the application of exploration tools as well as a strong ability to think creatively. Mr Burge graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Earth Science in 1981 and is a licensed professional geologist in British Columbia.
